As a Model-driven Engineer at F1RE, you will a part of a high-tech team of engineers. A good experience in product development of 5 years or more is desirable. Experience with Model Driven Engineering is preferable, but more important is having the skills and mindset that enables you to move away from the traditional way of software development.

You as a Model-driven Engineer

As a Model-driven engineer at F1RE, you will be focusing on writing and applying domain-specific language to drive the engineering process. This position requires somebody who is good at abstraction, and is ready to learn and grow together with the team. Your contribution is valued and your ideas are encouraged. You will be developing modeling tools and code generators that are integrated seamlessly.

F1RE is an young consultancy company which focuses on MDE. We take projects within the industry which are leaning towards Model Driven Engineering. We are hooked on the possibilities that MDE gives and the way it helps to create good software. Because it is a niche within the Software Development world, we are open for talent that is new to this way of work.

What do you bring as a Model Driven Engineer

• Experience with Java (+5 years)
• Great abstraction skills.
• Able to work in the Netherlands (EU citizen)
• Experience in professional multi-disciplined software development teams

Keywords; Java (JEE) experience. Scala, Xtext, MPS, Microservices, Agile, backend engineering
